Not a PTA mum…introduction to me

I may be writing this “mummy blog” but even though I love kids….well most of the time, I am a far cry away from being the perfect PTA mum. For those of you who don’t know PTA is parent-teacher association (just googled it) or in other words the mums that go the extra mile to make the rest of us feel like we should be doing more! But honestly who has the time. Although the local schools facebook group set up by the PTA has been a lifesaver and is definitely a must for any mum needing up to date info for the events going on at school. I definitely felt in the dark before joining this despite signing up for School (local app to supposedly send me the latest school information).

So I think we have established I am not PTA material! I am the mum who is scrambling through the dryer in the morning to get his uniform out and running past the headmaster at school in secret shame as we are late again or if we are really late the obnoxious receptionist who is just waiting for an excuse to use some power. But seriously now that I have three children I really should get it together more and at least appear more organised.

Although I am not the most organised mother I have learnt a lot over the past four years from pregnancy to child behaviour over and I hope to share the ups and downs of family life as well as any tips and guides that I can offer.
