How To keep Your Bathroom Tidy

You know that when you look in magazines the show homes have bathrooms that most of us can only dream of, they tend to be clean, cozy, and tidy. So here are some tips to get your own perfectly tidy bathroom.

While most of us don’t want to clean the whole bathroom every day, you can do things such as wipe down the tiles after having a bath or shower. This can also include a wipe down of the faucets and the sink. By just doing these daily spot-cleaning activity you will find it easier to get the perfectly tidy bathroom.

After this all you need to do is a weekly routine.

1: Dusting and vacuum, It’s best to clean your bathroom from top to bottom, so always start with high shelves, extractor fan, light fittings and finish by hoover the floor.

2: Spray antibacterial cleaner on all surfaces such as: wall tiles, bathtub, shelving, bath sink, toilet and floor. Again working from top to bottom, don’t forget the top of shower walls, inside the bath tub and inside the toilet bowl. To make your job easier use a sponge or microfiber cloth to spread the cleaner evenly around on all the surfaces.

3: Antibacterial cleaners need time to work. So it’s best to spray it on and let it sit for five to ten minutes on all surfaces before washing it all off. Also use a non-abrasive pad or scrub brush to clean the bathtub and tiles.

4: Rinse down. One of the most important things to do is rinse off the chemicals as these will attract dirt particles which will stick to the surfaces and start the dirt build up immediately. After rinsing off, use dry clean cotton cloths or rags to dry all bathroom surfaces.

5: Mirrors & glass. To keep your bathroom sparkling spray the mirror and other glass items with a glass cleanser and wipe dry with a dry cloth.

6: Floor. As you exit out of the bathroom you finish by wiping and drying the floor surfaces.

It’s also important to have the right storage products for your bathroom. Often we don’t have enough shelving for all our bathroom products, especially if you have young kids. So one thing could be very useful is a bath toy organizer– this bath net can hold all your kids toys so you have all bathroom equipment together in one place, and you can enjoy bathtime with your kids. But at the same time you are able to keep your bathroom tidy.
